Lately it seems that when Larry Summers, the director of the National Economic Council for the Obama administration, isn’t busy determining economic policy for the nation, he is fending off calls for his resignation.

Rumors have been swirling that Christina Romer’s resignation in early August was due to the combative nature of Summers which has led to minority leader John Boehner calling for Summers to step down. Others, however, think Summers’ leadership style is perfectly suited for the daunting dask before him.
