Bono’s Liberty Medal in 100 seconds
In 2006 the National Constitution Center awarded the Liberty Medal to Bono and DATA, an NGO focused on Debt, AIDS, Trade and Africa. The ceremony lasted just under an hour and featured appearances from Then-mayor John Street and former President George H.W. Bush.
In case you didn’t catch the broadcast, no worries. We’ve boiled down the ceremony to less than a 100 seconds so you can whet your appetite for the ceremony on September 13th, when NCC will award Tony Blair with the 2010 Liberty Medal.
