Isn't it scary that congress has the power to repeal an amendment? Prohibition, I understand. But if the government had the power to repeal this amendment, they can repeal others, or at least regulate them so we think we have freedoms that we do not actually have Such as the Second Amendment, which gives us the right to keep and bear arms. Nowadays, one has to have a permit to have a gun, and go through extensive processes to do so. If the government feels like it (this sounds vague and unproven but it is actually true), they can take away your so-called right to bear arms, and if you keep the weapon you go to jail for illegal firearms possession. That doesn't sound like we have any right, at all.
what's next? Will the freedoms of speech and the press be taken away? Well, the government can arrest you for exercising these freedoms, simply by b.s.ing, saying that you are a threat to "public safety" or whatever. What's next, will the abolishment of slavery be repealed? Women's rights?

I just want to say that I've never owned or wanted to own a gun. I am not a threat to anyone, just a girl trying to get my opinion out and exercise my freedom of speech. Hope I enlightened some of you people out there. Bye.
