Constitutional Astrology: The Presidential Horoscopes for June

For many, the stars (the ones made of hydrogen and helium) serve as a GPS for life. Should I go on that blind date? Should I ask my boss for that raise? Well, is Mercury in retrograde?

The constitutional astrologers here at Constitution Daily (yes, we exist) are pleased to introduce a radical new approach to the zodiac. What does your sign say, not about the future but about the past? While many will still look to political pundits (also often  filled with gas) to comprehend current events, we will be watching as the planets shift and the moons of Jupiter align to help you make sense of it all. Cancer (June 21st to July 20th)

This month you may find yourself feuding with a friend. If things have been a bit tense lately, you may be more inclined to neglect talks and finally take a stand. This isn’t surprising considering that the outbreak of  both World War I and the Korean War and the battle of Gettysburg all took place during Cancer’s reign. Be careful as tempers are flaring. It’s good to stand up for yourself, but you don’t want to go too far. If Alexander Hamilton could have read Constitution Daily in July of 1811, I’m sure he would have thought twice about accepting that fateful invitation from Aaron Burr. We all know how that turned out!

Presidential Cancers (sounds like a blight on the White House)

• John Quincy Adams: July 11, 1767
• Calvin Coolidge: July 4, 1872
• Gerald R. Ford: July 14, 1913
• George W. Bush: July 6, 1946

Can you imagine a dinner party with these four guys? If you’ve been thinking about going into the family business, this is the month to do it! It worked out pretty well for John Q. and George W.; they’re both sons of presidents that went on to become presidents, too. If you’ve been wondering if you should apply for that promotion, now that your boss has moved on, go for it!

Both Calvin Coolidge and Gerald Ford assumed their presidencies after their bosses couldn’t finish out their terms. Warren G. Harding died suddenly passing the torch to Coolidge, and we all know what happened to Nixon. We hope you’ll refrain from making any decisions next month until we can pass along the sacred historical ramifications of being a Leo! Our constitutional astrologers are already hard at work examining the birthday of sitting president, Barack Obama.
