I’ve wondered who, exactly, was necessary to provide the ratification in each state, and how RI squeezed in? Also, I know each delegate got a copy to take home, but do we know how many more did Dunlap, et al, print — as well as reprints in other states? I’m trying to envision their journeys back home on horseback, with help to bring their copy(ies?) of 5,000 pages to their constituents. I know 20 original copies exist today. I guess I’ll have to wait until Sept. 16th.
