A Constitution Day climax to George Washington’s historic Philly summer! [VIDEO]

Constitution Day is here once again!  Here at the National Constitution Center, the day not only celebrates the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution, it also marks the unofficial end to summer.  This year, it’s definitely a bitter-sweet moment, because we’re about to say good-bye to our very special summer guest, President George Washington!

For George, spending this summer in the same city where he spent that historic 1787 summer sure brought back lots of memories.  He had a blast reliving the most memorable convention moments and revisiting all of his favorite Philly haunts.  Always on the cutting edge, he even made use of the latest smart phone technology, sharing all of his adventures on Twitter!

We are so glad that George was able to return to Philly for one more historic summer!  But before we say good-bye, President Washington will be at the Center helping us celebrate Constitution Day!

Take look and see how President Washington spent his summer in the City of Brotherly Love!
