Rosen spoke with “super lawyer” David Boies about the arguments that were before the Supreme Court in its recent pair of same-sex marriage decisions. Boies and one-time opponent Ted Olson were on the winning side of the Proposition 8 case.

Rosen also spoke with Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan about privacy rules, recent Court cases, and what it’s like to go hunting with Justice Antonin Scalia.

Rosen also explained some constitutional problems with the National Security Agency’s surveillance programs—and how they can be fixed to be more in line with the Constitution, in a discussion about privacy.

Rosen also moderated a panel discussion featuring five well-known journalists and experts on the meaning of the press in the 21st century.
