Debt, health care, war—whatever the news of the day, featured guests at the National Constitution Center explain the issues and tell you what you need to know.
In the 2013-2014 season at America’s Town Hall, scholars and leaders from across the country and around the world traveled to Philadelphia to discuss the debt ceiling, the Affordable Care Act, executive war powers and the Arab Spring.
The fall 2014 season promises to deliver yet again, with visits in October from screenwriter Geoffrey Ward, UNC law professor Michael Gerhardt, Pepperdine historian Edward Larson, biographer Richard Brookhiser, Northwestern law professor Steven Calabresi and NYU law professor Burt Neuborne.
October will also include the 2014 Liberty Medal Ceremony honoring Pakistani human rights activist Malala Yousafzai and the opening of Constituting Liberty, the Constitution Center’s newest exhibit featuring one of the 12 original copies of the Bill of Rights.
Tickets are available now for these events as well as the entire fall series at America’s Town Hall. The new programs kick off on Tuesday, September 9—join us!
